Berlioz – Harold in Italy (mvt. 1) – for viola quartet

£11.99

Description

As far as I am aware, the only other arranger to rise to the challenge of this mighty symphonic work was Franz Liszt, who made a superb piano version. So I reckon it’s long overdue to be fully violarized.

Some of it is technically challenging, but it all lies well under the fingers, hence I have rated it as suitable for Moderate-to-Advanced players. Wonderful!. 15 mins. M/A
