Tchaikovsky – Serenata, Opus 44

£8.95

Description

For some reason you rarely get to hear Tchaikovsky’s second piano concerto. Possibly because of the middle movement. It takes the form of a love duet between a solo violin and cello where the piano spends much of the time in an accompanying role. And yet it is some of Tchaikovsky’s most gorgeous writing. He has put everything into to it, heart and soul. It should be played, shared, and enjoyed.

So we are particularly proud to include this unique version for viola quartet in our library. Lots of passion in all the parts. Yum! 13 mins. M/A
