I am sure I’m not the only violist who first heard this amazing piece of music in Disney’s “Fantasia” with Leopold Stokowski conducting the Philadelphia Orchestra. And then, some years later, to actually perform it myself – what an experience! But as far as I’m concerned it will always be Mickey Mouse’s piece no matter how many times I hear or play it.
