Description

I’m sure you’re familiar with the famous “Air” from Bach’s third orchestral suite, sometimes known as “Air on the G String”. Well, this isn’t it – although it has a very similar character.

In fact it comes from his 2nd Solo Violin Sonata, but you have to admit there are remarkable similarities; wonderful serenity.

This is our version for strings, and it can be adapted to suit all sorts of combinations of strings, either solo instruments or large ensemble, and is suitable for Easy to Moderate abilities: 5 mins.
