Beethoven – Moonlight Sonata for viola trio

£8.49

Description

It’s an iconic and magnificent piece of music, and instantly recognisable. But when you look closely you see that it is three totally separate works: the first movement with it’s introspective flowing triplets and ever-shifting, sometimes dark harmonies, the middle movement being light-hearted and Haydnesque, and the frantic, breathless finale that has very little respite. For grading purposes I would rate the 1st and 2nd as E/M, and the 3rd definitely A. 15 mins.
