Bruckner – Fantasie

Until recently my experience of Anton Bruckner had been confined to his symphonic works: Massive, impressive, often very loud, and lots of tremolando. So I was thrilled to discover this recent Fantasie for viola quartet: Subtle, stylish, light-hearted, romantic, and no tremolando. What a delight to play. 5 mins. M
