This is a five-movement work, consisting of: Andante, Andante con moto, Choral, Fugue, and Allegro maestoso e vivace.
And all of it is suitable for players of Easy to Moderate abilities – or indeed anyone who enjoys the best of Mendelssohn’s music. The entire work does not go above 1st position.
Lovely flowing melodies, luscious harmonies, and lots of clever counterpoint with plenty of interest in all the parts.
