Beethoven – Scottish Album Op.108

Like me, being an instrumentalist, you may not be aware that Beethoven created an extensive and magnificent set of folk songs, set for voice, violin, cello, and piano. They were commissioned by the Scotsman and music lover, George Thomson. And Beethoven set to work with great enthusiasm and style.

So I am very proud to present this selection of these 10 titles arranged for viola quartet, faithfully reproduced and lovingly arranged. Absolutely delightful! 22 mins. M
