Frank Bridge, early twentieth century violist and composer, was working in a period of great experimentation in music but had the good sense to stick with what he did best. Thus he is regarded as one of the great late-romantic English composers.

This three-movement suite (2 slow and 1 fast) is luscious, romantic, passionate, playful, and with lots of interest for all the players. Really good to get your teeth into. 12 mins. M
