Here’s a delightfully elegant piece of music. Originally scored for 2 oboes, 2 horns, and 2 bassoons, but it translates into the language of the viola perfectly.
There are 5 short movements: Presto, Minuet and Trio, Adagio, Minuet and Trio, Finale – Presto.
The 1st viola has some slightly higher stuff and can be played on violin (in 1st position) if you really must, but the other parts are all very easy.
