John Loeillet, also known as Jean-Baptiste Loeillet of London, was a prominent Baroque Flemish composer who heped bring the continetal style to England in the late 17th centuary.
This lovely duo sonata is ideal for the viola scholar as it can be played entirely in 1st position, although some position changing would not be a bad thing if you’re up for it.
