Boyce – Introduction and Allegro

£3.00

Description

William Boyce was one of those composers whose music served to bridge the late baroque to the new and exciting classical era.

In his day he was highly successful and renowned, but after his death he faded from the public eye until his music came to light and enjoyed a revival during the last century.

This short work, where the Introduction is thematically linked to the following allegro, has lots of interest in all the parts. But Players 1 and 2 do briefly venture into 4th position. Nothing scary, I promise. 4 mins.
