Presenting what was originally Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante for Winds (oboe, clarinet, horn, bassoon, and orchestra), in our unique version for Viola Sextet that also includes some little references to his opera, The Magic Flute – hence the title.
It is a substantial work in 3 movements, being entirely in E flat Major, Mozart’s all-time favourite key.
Lots of melodic interest in all the parts throughout, but with the 1st player mostly on the upper line. Wonderful! 35 mins. M
