Description
From one of the great Italian baroque composers, this was originally a Trio Sonata in G Major, but with a little tweaking it makes a very pleasing Viola Trio in D Major. It’s in 3 movements: fast-slow-fast.
You may recognise it from Pulcinella, Stravinsky’s Ballet score, where he gives it his personal neo-classical magic.
But here it is as a very pleasing viola trio with lots of nice tunes for all the players. 8 mins. M
