Presenting our very own unique arrangement of one of the greatest symphonic works of the early 20th century.
It’s a tough piece to play in it’s original orchestration, so it is arguably an even greater challenge for just 7 violas. Hence I have graded it as suitable for advanced students or professional players. O but what a sound! 13 mins A
Footnote: It was a massive task creating this arrangement. Indeed, of all the viola ensemble works I have produced this has been by far the most ambitious, the most challenging, the most time consuming, but also in many ways the most rewarding. And all this while knowing that it probably won’t be suitable for the majority of players. But, on the other hand, I would sincerely hope that it could be a worthy addition to anyone’s personal library if only for it’s rarity as an arrangement – if you can be tempted, that is.
