Description
A Suite of 6 short pieces originally composed as a piano duet, it makes for a very nice volume for viola quartet. They work well both as a complete work or as individual pieces.
They were composed over a three year period for “Dolly”, the nickname of Régina-Hélène Bardac, the daughter of a close friend.
They vary in difficulty. Overall the 1st viola part is the most technically demanding, so I would grade it as M/A. The other parts would be M. 16 mins.
